Let's face it, life can be difficult at times. Like a lotus flower blooms in mud, so can we. Whether it's a life transition or problematic way of being that isn't serving you anymore, therapy can help. We all possess the capacity to cultivate more effective and joyful ways of being. In a non judgmental atmosphere, I work with client's looking at how the past informs the present, what skills you already possess and what patterns and behaviors are no longer serving you.
I work with individuals and groups using dialectical behavior therapy framework to help clients navigate intense emotions with more effective ways of being. Some of my specialties include, but are not limited too:
- DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) helps with regulating intense emotions
- Transitioning to parenthood
- Meditation to handle stress
- EMDR (Eye Movement Densensitization and Reprocessing)
My approach is collaborative, conversational, and goal-orientated.
